St. Xaviers CMI Public School is a premier educational institution of Bhavnagar and has an academic team of enthusiastic teachers. We are endeavoring to achieve stellar perfection through our solemn academic pursuits. It is significant that our impeccable, creative and empathetic contributions to the society have been a great boon to the society. Thanks to its assiduous endeavors, St. Xaviers CMI Public School has been blazing a path breaking trail in the annals of academic institutions here. It is managed by the devout CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) fathers. This CMI unit is the first and largest indigenous congregation for men belonging to Catholic Church in India. St. Xaviers CMI Public School was born out of the educational vision of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI congregation. Saint Chavara was a great educationalist and a social reformer of the 19th century. He could envisage the rhythm of the environment and make strategic moves to build a better society based on fatherhood of God and brotherhood of humanity. Having been founded at Mannanam, Kerala in 1831, the congregation has now grown widely and has established an esteemed university in Bangalore, a couple of colleges all over India to cater to engineering, medical and management studies apart from setting up one Polytechnic Institute and a few hospitals in some cities. We have winged our way beyond the confines of India and now established several institutions in 24 countries. Our congregation is engaged in various ministries in the fields of education, pastoral care, health care and social development.
Our motto is to groom young men with vigorous and creative minds, inculcate in them a sense of empathy and concern for others and build confidence in them to accomplish their dreams. We emphasize on the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of the child.
